A city named to honour the revolutionary leader

A city named to honour the revolutionary leader in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City was renamed after the fall of Saigon in 1976.

The metropolitan has modernised and improved with many infrastructures and skyscrapers.

Some of the historical landmark remains and conserved by the local authorities.

Naming one, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon was built by the French colonists in 1863 and 1880.
